"Dream House" Project

(mbc.net) "Dream House" Project "Dream House" award is given by "MBC Hope" in collaboration with Wataneya Association for the development of orphanages and Drossoss Association for detecting the best sheltered institutions for orphans children who are in need for family care in the Arab region. The prize includes five categories:

  1. The Best sheltered institutions.
  2. The quality of child care and protection. 
  3. Quality of management systems. 
  4. Infrastructure and equipment. 
  5. Quality of care providers.
Dream House

"Dream House" award is supported this year from the civil society represented by the Food Bank, and the private sector too represented by Giza Systems Company, EG Group, CMT, The United Bank, PepsiCo, and The Modern Bakery Company; the ceremony was hosted by Hilton Ramses Hotel to support the cause of orphans in Egypt.The jury includes a group of experts and specialists in the child care field who volunteered with their knowledge and time, and they are:  

  1. Dr. Moiz Shohdi the founding member and CEO of the network of regional food banks and the founding member and CEO for goodness banks. 
  2. Dr. Sahar Attia professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University and the head of Architecture Engineering Department. 
  3. Dr. Heba Wageeh Kotb psychology professor at the American University. 
  4. Dr. Hala Hammad children, adolescents, and family relations psychiatrist.
  5. Dr. Abdul Hamid cheapish the Ministry of Solidarity on Disability Advisor. 
  6. Ms. Nahla ElNemr a representative of young orphans, and the administrator of assessment the unity of the institutional development in Wataneya Association.
"Ad Alhayah" Activity for Homeless Children, Wady Hoof Department, which is dependent to Resala Charity Association, won the Dream House Award 2015-2016 for The Best Sheltered Associations Category; also “Bashaer Alfagr” won in The Quality of Child Care and Protection Category, and “Bayt Alhamd” that is dependent to Tabarak Association won The Quality of Management Systems Category, and “Bayt Amna” won in The Infrastructure and Equipment Category, As for the Quality of Care Providers Category, no association was qualified.
