"The Doctors" features a panel of doctors discussing a variety of health topics. The group of specialists that comprise the panel deliver medical advice in an easily digestible, down-to-earth manner. Each doctor will weigh in on medical topics brought up by guests and their real life experiences, as well as issues raised by users that are a part of the series' online community.

The series is a spin-off of "Dr. Phil" and is the first talk show to be spun off from another talk show spin-off, as "Dr. Phil" itself is a spin-off of "The Oprah Winfrey Show".

The series is hosted by ER doctor and former "The Bachelor" participant Travis Lane Stork, who has appeared frequently on "Dr. Phil", with pediatrician Jim Sears, obstetrician/ gynecologist Lisa Masterson, and plastic surgeon Andrew Ordon rounding out the discussion panel.

The concept, which originated on "Dr. Phil", mostly focuses on health and medical issues, as a team of medical professionals discuss a range of various health-related topics and answer questions from viewers who are too embarrassed to ask their own doctors.

Dr. Lisa M. Masterson, M.D., is a specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, adolescent gynecology and family planning. She is on staff at Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and maintains a private office in Santa Monica.

For the first time, viewers will have a source of reliable and fascinating medical and health advice, dispensed by a distinguished panel of on-call professionals.

Story-driven, dynamic and interactive, "The Doctors" does for health care what "Dr. Phil" has done for down-to-earth discussions of emotional and psychological issues.

Viewers are also encouraged to Ask the Doctors by submitting their questions and experiences to the shows website about the health care issues that matter the most to them. Answers may be delivered on-air, or become the basis for a larger, produced segment.

The show covers a broad range of subjects, especially news-breaking, topical issues. This medical dream team will be the must-go-to source for information on the latest medical breakthroughs and cutting-edge practices and procedures, providing a valuable resource for viewers who might not have access to the most updated medical advances.

"The Doctors" is an American talk show that premiered on September 8, 2008. The hour-long program is produced by Phil McGraw and his son Jay McGraw.
