A Musical Performance That Audio Alone Cannot Capture Spend An Intimate Evening With Beyonc Knowles

In 1997 Beyonc Knowles splashed onto the scene as a prolific member of female R&B group Destinys Child. The groups first single, produced by and featuring Wyclef Jean, rocketed up the charts, initiating their ascension into pop culture stardom. Releases such as Bills, Bills, Bills and Say My Name earned Destinys Child even greater critical acclaim.

Yet throughout all of this, and despite the extreme talent of her band mates, Knowles stood out as not only a singer, but also a well-rounded entertainer, with accompanying beauty, charm, and grace. It was clear that while she was indeed a musician, her destiny would entail much more. After numerous lineup changes the girls finally parted in 2006, but not without leaving behind a trail of tracks showcasing their strength as performers including, Independent Women,

Survivor, and Bootylicious just to name a few.

During these years Knowles spared no effort in furthering her acting career, starting with a lead role in 2002s Austin Powers in Goldmember and then her amazing performance in 2003s The Fighting Temptations, where she showcased both the skilled acting and golden voice that made her famous. Beyonc sealed her place in Hollywood after yet another breathtaking performance in 2006s Dreamgirls.

While still a member of Destinys Child the songstress released her solo debut, the 2003 album Dangerously in Love, an undisputable hit that included the pop anthems Crazy in Love and Baby Boy. The record earned a whopping five Grammy awards, securing Beyoncs status as both a present and future pop diva. The follow-ups BDay and I Am . . . Sasha Fierce earned similar praise, with the later winning an astonishing six Grammy awards, a feat unmatched by any female artist before her.

Her latest tour I Am . . . Yours visited the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, raking in more than $86 million in ticket sales. The tour left most critics in general awe, impressed by Beyoncs continued commitment to perfection; Billboard Magazine agreed, nominating the performer for the Eventful Fans Choice Award in 2009.

One of the tours most notable stops included a Las Vegas performance, where big stage theatrics were forfeited for one-to-one intimacy, removing flashy effects and replacing them with a live band. Unsurprisingly, critics spoke positively of the event, with one reviewer comparing her performance to that of fellow diva Celine Dion a Vegas regular of past years.

Luckily for Beyoncs fans the performance was captured on film, and audiences around the world, including those in the Middle East will have a chance to experience the event on television. MBC exclusively presents her intimate performance at the Encore Theater on March 10 at 20:00 GMT. Beyonc will surely please audiences, and deliver a concert that only an artist of her caliber can. Be sure not to miss this spectacular show!
