Age Aint Nothin But a Number Shes Got the Look: Redefining the Top Model

Breaking away from tradition, Shes Got the Look does not focus on beautiful twenty-something hotties like its sibling, Americas Next Top Model. Instead the program searches for the nations most attractive mature woman, and there is no upper age limit. Contestants vary in age from 35 to 72, and all have an equal chance of winning the grand prize: a modeling contract and photo spread in Self magazine.

Auditions take place in Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and New York City. Those selected are then flown to New York City, where aspiring contestants are evaluated and narrowed down to the ten most worthy finalists. Reminiscent of other reality shows, the remaining ten contestants move into a luxurious loft, where personality conflicts and cutthroat competition eventually evoke extreme behavior and drama.

Each week the ladies participate in a series of challenges comprised of runway competitions, photo shoots, and an evaluation of their fashion expertise (or lack thereof) in general. The panel of judges includes model Beverly Johnson, stylist Robert Verdi, Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson, and model Roshumba Williams, who replaces Johnson in season three.

While all of the programs participants are gorgeous, only one can be crowned the ultimate winner!
