"Hope & Faith" is an American situation comedy that is created by Joanna Johnson, a former cast member of "The Bold and the Beautiful". The show runs for three seasons, the first two of which was part of a revived TGIF comedy block.

The show was primarily filmed at New York City's Silvercup East, a sister studio to Silvercup Studios, to accommodate Ripa's schedule with "Live with Regis and Kelly".

"Hope & Faith" stars Faith Ford as Hope Shanowski, Megan Fox as Sydney Shanowski, Nicole Paggi as Sydney Shanowski, Kelly Ripa as Faith Fairfield, Ted McGinley as Charley Shanowski, Macey Cruthird as Hayley Shanowski, and Paulie Litt as Justin Shanowski.

Faith Ford plays a homemaker with a husband (Ted McGinley) and three children. Ripa plays her sister, a soap opera star whose character is killed off, leading her to move in with her sister's family.

The show is based in part on the life of its creator, Joanna Johnson. The show featured guest stars such as Tony Curtis, Dean Cain, Robert Wagner, Regis Philbin (Ripa's co-host on "Live with Regis and Kelly"), Kathie Lee Gifford, and Mark Consuelos (Ripa's husband).

"Hope and Faith" is a sitcom about what happens when the fast lane collides with the carpool lane. It's about the moments that make you want to hug your sister and the times you have to resist the urge to kill her.

Hope (Faith Ford), a down-to-earth, happily married mom of three in Columbus, Ohio, had her tidy world up-ended by the arrival of her celebrity sister, Faith (Kelly Ripa). Faith was living the high life in Hollywood as a daytime soap opera star until her soap's character, Ashley Storm, was suddenly and unceremoniously killed off on "The Sacred and the Sinful" by her evil twin.

After a year under her roof wreaking occasional havoc, Hope can attest that you can kill the diva off on the daytime drama, but you can't take the drama out of the diva.

The show was nominated to Primetime Emmy Award, Young Artist Award for supporting young actor (Paulie Litt) and supporting young actresses (Macey Cruthird & Megan Fox).
