Brandon Lang loves football until an injury keeps him from the pros but it�s not long until Lang discovers a second talent: predicting a game's winner and loser--a talent that makes him very attractive to Walter Abrams, one of the country's leading sports betting consultants.

Brandon Lang loves football until an injury keeps him from the pros but it�s not long until Lang discovers a second talent: predicting a game's winner and loser--a talent that makes him very attractive to Walter Abrams, one of the country's leading sports betting consultants.

Needing money, Lang leaves Vegas for Manhattan to work for Abrams advising gamblers. Walter has a doting wife, a young daughter, and a thriving business, but he has problems: a bum heart, a belief he's a master manipulator, and addictions barely kept in check.

Abrams takes on Lang as his prot�g�, allowing him to grow used to the lavish lifestyle. But, the seemingly perfect father/son relationship gradually unravels as Lang loses his touch and Abrams seeks too much control.

The ensuing action, enrapturing even Abrams' wife Toni, resolves in a stunning revelation of con after con, leaving viewers to wonder whom to trust.

This movie is rated R for pervasive language, a scene of sexuality and a violent acts.
