A sport drama set in the 70s, and inspired by true event and characters, it revolves around Cathy Rush (Carla Gugino) as she becomes the first woman head-coach in basketball history. The times were rift with major social changes and in 1971 was the first ever women collegiate championships tournament. When Cathy was hired as the coach of the all-girls catholic school, Immaculata College, the challenge she was facing seemed undefeatable like having no gymnasium, no supporters and a zero for budget, but Cathy’s energy and drive prove stronger than anyone could have imagined, and soon she comes up with a perfect plan to bring the team together, and at the end of day just the fact that this team existed was already a huge win, but what follows will be remembered in history of the sport for ages to come.
