Ex-Spetnaz (Russian Special Forces) hit man Nikolai Cherenko tried to lead a simple life by abandoning his past and taking up work in a small town as a mechanic. Yet trouble soon finds him when a Russian mobster, Sasha, descends on his small town and a shoot-out takes place. When the smoke clears Nikolai's wife and son are lying lifeless in the street. He hunts the gang down, but when years later a rich woman asks him to rescue her daughter who has been forced into the sex trade, he refuses until he sees the photo of the kidnapper- none other than Sasha that he thought he killed years ago.

Yet trouble soon finds its way to him when a Russian mobster, Sasha Popov (Ivan Petrushinov), descends on his small town and a shoot-out takes place. When the smoke clears Nikolai's wife and son are lying lifeless in the street. Choosing to take justice into his own hands, Nikolai hunts the gang down and manages to eliminate them shooting Sasha in the face.

Yet years later, when Nick has emigrated to the US and takes up work as a mechanic in L.A. he is approached by a rich woman, Mary Abramoff (Levana Finkelstein) who manages to track him down and asks him to rescue her daughter Julia (Olivia Lee) who has been abducted and forced into the sex trade. Nick refuses initially until Mary shows him the photo of the kidnapper- none other than Sasha that has somehow survived the bullet to the face...
