The directorial debut of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, The Education of Charlie Banks premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, where it won the Made in NY Narrative Award.

Charlie (Jesse Eisenberg) and his best friend Danny (Chris Marquette) grew up in a tough New York neighborhood knowing Mick (Jason Ritter), who was both revered for his perceived 'cool-factor' and feared for his violent ways. When Mick assaults two jocks leaving them near death, Charlie, who witnessed what happened, informed the police but wouldn't testify against Mick when the trial came round fearing for his own safety.

Years later, when Charlie and Danny enter a prestigious college in New York and think they've left the old neighborhood for good, Mick suddenly appears on campus and aggressively forces himself unto their lives. He tries to pass off as a rich, well-educated young man- even stealing the girl Charlie had a crush on. Question is- does Mick know that Charlie informed on him? And how will Charlie stand up to this old adversary that is trying to screw up the new life he is making for himself?
