Nick Martinez (Joaquim de Almeida) and Gina (Kim Basinger) are both married, yet still love and meet each other in Nick’s trailer. Never intending to harm anyone, Mariana is horrified as the fire reaches a large gas tank and the resulting explosion claims both Nick and her mother.

At their funeral, Mariana connects to Nick’s son Santiago (JD Pardo) eventually getting pregnant with Santiago’s daughter.
