Incompetent cops are outed on national TV -- twice.

A television news reporter captures a shootout between local police and a gang of bank robbers.  The gang obliterates the police and the humiliating event is captured from start to finish on camera.  To restore the department's image, a producer suggests launching a reality TV show documenting a successful bust against the gang.

The program is initially successful -- at least outwardly.  Clever editing allows the police to appear victorious, but when the gang's leader publishes the real footage on-line, the police department is humiliated once again.
