Theyre Older, but not Necessarily Wiser Miss Guided: High School Life for Adults

In high school Becky Freeley (Judy Greer) was an outcast, at the top of her class academically, but at the bottom of the barrel socially. Her greatest social achievement, perhaps, was the establishment of a fan club for Milli Vanilli, the 90s pop duo humiliated for lip-syncing an entire album. Yet even that endeavor was far from successful, since she was the clubs sole member aside from one other student.

Fast-forward 10 years later. Becky has shed the sheepish demeanor and awkward looks of her youth, and transformed herself into a glamorous woman that no man would be ashamed to walk beside. Coincidentally she has also returned to her alma mater, this time as the high schools guidance counselor.

While Freeley is no longer the butt of students jokes, and in fact the apple of many boys eyes (both teenage and adult), a forgotten annoyance from her past has resurfaced: Homecoming Queen turned English teacher Lisa Germain (Brooke Burns). Tension between the two ladies remains, especially as both attempt to woo classroom Casanova Tim O'Malley (Kristoffer Polaha).

Questionably qualified in more ways than one, O'Malley originally served as Glen Ellen High Schools auto-shop teacher. When a Spanish instructor abruptly abandoned his position, however, O'Malley quickly took his place. Ordinarily that would be fine, except that the former grease monkeys grasp of Spanish barely extends beyond the words taco and burrito. Worse yet, and unbeknownst to administrators, he never completed his college degree, despite being a measly two credits short.

O'Malley is not the only faculty member with an admirer. Long serving and effeminate Vice Principal Bruce Terry (Chris Parnell) is hot for Lisa, who is most certainly uninterested in him. Terrys infatuation is slightly creepy, primarily since the girls were his former students. He also lusts for power, hoping to one day usurp current principle Phil Huffy (Earl Billings).

Miss Guided features guest appearances by Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Rumer Willis.
