Danny Meehan (Vinnie Jones) was the captain of England’s national soccer team -- until officials discovered that he fixed a game against Germany.  Banned from football for life, Meehan's life took another downward spiral  when he assaulted two cops in a drunken brawl, which earned him a three-year prison bid.

When the prison warden, portrayed by David Hemmings, asks Meehan to coach the guards' soccer team, the guards signal to him to turn down the offer, or else he will have to face their wrath.  Danny refuses the warden, but instead offers to recruit some of the institution's players to form a squad that can compete against the guards, helping them practice and get in shape. Yet when Meehan's team is leading the guards 1-0 at halftime, the warden asks Meehan to throw the game away or face extended jail-time. Will Danny give in to the warden's pressure and let his team down by fixing yet another match? Or will his squad emerge victorious?
