How To Train Your Dragon

For Hiccup, the Viking chieftain's son, to earn his stripes he must slay a dragon- going back to the old rivalry between the Vikings and dragons. Yet when Hiccup creates a catapult-like machine and fells a flying dragon, accidentally injuring it, he finds that he doesn't have the heart to kill it and befriends it instead. For Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), the Viking chieftain (Gerard Butler)'s son, to earn his stripes he must slay a dragon- going back to the old rivalry between the Vikings and dragons.

Yet when Hiccup creates a catapult-like machine and fells a flying dragon, accidentally injuring it, he finds that he doesn't have the heart to kill it and befriends it instead.

The injured dragon he names 'Toothless' due to its retractable teeth, and is a Night Fury, the rarest of dragon species. Before leaving with the fleet, his dad Stoick enrolls him in dragon-slaying classes with the town's blacksmith, Gobber (Craig Ferguson), where he meets the beautiful, yet competitive, Astrid (America Ferrera), who he ends up introducing to Toothless, as events ensue...

Theirs is a beautiful friendship that may change the way dragons and Vikings interact forever. Definitely one for the whole family!
