The film�s cast includes Nick Stahl as the Jinx, the innocent civilian; Erika Christensen as Jessica, The Hostage; Terry Crews as Officer Degepse, the man in charge of the negotiations; Adriano Aragon as Officer Linstrom, Degepse�s partner; Gavin Rossdale as the Leader of the Bank Robbers; Leo Fitzpatrick as Gunman, a henchman; and David Carradine as Nick, The Mastermind. The film was directed and produced by Andrew Jenkins.

As he tries to access an ATM to retrieve his last twenty bucks, Jason�JINX� Taylor runs into a snag � the transaction fee will overdraw him, and he cannot get his money out of the bank. Jinx fumes about this and other hidden charges which complicate his life�as we realize that he is locked in a bank vault�with the beautiful but tied-up Jessica, her apparently a hostage.

We quickly realizes a bank robbery is in process, led by Simon. Jinx and Jessica are trapped in the vault, but to Jinx surprise Jessica knows the code needed to get them out. Not only this, but Jinx finds out that Jessica has a much bigger role in the heist, and discovers that he has got more power than he has ever had in his life, being able to manipulate both the robbers and the cops negotiating the ordeal.

How To Rob A Bank is an independent film released first shown at the Cannes Film Market and at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2007, and then released in the US in 2008.
