Highway

Two friends flee from the mafia during a road trip from Las Vegas to Seattle.

When Las Vegas mobster Burt Miranda (Mark Rolston) catches his pool cleaner, Jack Hayes (Jared Leto) making love to his wife, he sends his henchmen to break his feet.  Luckily, Jack's pal Pilot Kelson (Jake Gyllenhaal) has just stolen a Rolls Royce, and they make a quick getaway to Seattle.

Along the way Pilot and Jack meet other interesting characters, including a middle-aged stoner mourning Kurt Cobain's death and Cassie (Selma Blair), a battered woman who simply joins the boys out of boredom.  Meanwhile Miranda's thugs are close behind, determined to deliver a severe beating to Jack.
