A man dumped by an unfaithful girlfriend pens a best-selling book.

Helen (Bianca Lawson) meant the world to Quincy Watson (Jamie Foxx). So when he asked for her hand in marriage he expected to hear a resounding, "I do!"  Instead, she dumped him and confessed to sleeping with Watson's best friend.

Watson later penned a letter to Helen expressing his anguish; what was originally intended to span a mere page or two quickly dwarfed into over 300.  His cousin Evan (Morris Chestnut) ridicules Quincy's obsession initially, but quickly realizes that he has struck literary gold.
