(mbc.net) It’s the eve of the 4th of July, and a young couple from New York, Bobby (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Kate (Lynn Collins) are uncertain, unsure if they should follow tradition and go spend the day at her Parents house, or do they set out on a more adventurous day on their own, so they let a coin toss on the Brooklyn bridge decide. After making the decision, and we follow the course of that day, we are introduced to an alternate parallel narrative, of the other possibility, a what-if kind of situation, what if they took this decision and not the other. Now, while the process of taking the decision seemed mundane, the implication of each decision are not, and each decision no matter what small, will have big impact on their life and relation. A simple concept with very deep philosophical after taste, to show how our life are really the sum of it’s most tiny moments and decisions and nothing is as independent as they seems.
