Based on the classic Margery Williams’ 1922 novel ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’, young Toby (Matthew Harbour), who has recently lost his mom (Jane Seymour), is sent to spend Christmas with his grandmother Ellen (Una Kay), as his workaholic dad (Kevin Jubinville) logs time at the company.

At his grandmother’s house, Toby discovers a magical attic, where he finds a rabbit made of velveteen that seems to be the last gift his mother intended for him. When a tear falls from Toby’s eye and touches the rabbit, it comes to life.

Rabbit (voiced by Chandler Wakefield) leads Toby into a world of fun and imagination, with other playmates such as Horse (Tom Skerritt) and Swan (Ellen Burstyn), who all hope to be transformed into real animals by the power of love…
