(mbc.net) In the final chapter of the fairytale from the land of Far, Far Away, comes the fourth, and last, installment of the Shrek films.

The cunning, deceitful Rumpelstiltskin has hated Shrek for compromising his chances of becoming King of Far, Far Away, and after an outburst by Shrek where he tells Fiona that he was happier in his ogre days, when he was feared by all, Rumpelstiltskin finds his chance to change things in his favor once and for all.

He tricks Shrek (Mike Myers) into giving up a day of his childhood in exchange for living another day as a free ogre- feared by everyone. When Shrek signs the contract though he finds out that Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn) has erased the day Shrek was born. Thus we find out what Far, Far Away would have been like if Shrek had never existed- a desolate, run down kingdom where Rumpelstiltskin is king, and where Fiona (Cameron Diaz) is leading the ogre rebellion against this unlawful king.

With the ever-hilarious Donkey (Eddie Murphy), an overweight Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), and all of the lovely, fun-filled characters we have come to know through the Shrek movies, this is a great way to say goodbye to Shrek, with the promise to live happily forever after...
