Jack is not your everyday primate; he is 3 years old living in a laboratory under the care of Dr. Kendall (Lomax Study), who has managed to teach Jack to use sign language. But the slow progress pushes Dr. kendall’s Boss Dr. Peabody (Oliver Muirhead) cuts the financing and sends Jack to a new laboratory. However, Dr. Kendall decides to free Jack and send him to a safer place, a mix-up ensue and Jack finds himself shipped to Canada, where he is discovered by a young deaf girl, Tara (Jamie Renée Smith). She is shocked to see Jack using sign language and decides to hide him from her family. Soon her hokey player Brother is let in on the secret, and when they discover Jack’s ability to play ice hokey and the lack of regulation against a chimp playing. Jack joins the team, and with jack’s help the team is heading for the league’s championship game. But the news of the hokey playing primate soon attracts the unwanted attention of Dr. Peabody who is determined to bring Jack back…
