A grieving nurse finds comfort and inspiration in her new assignment, where she meets a terminally ill woman with a quick with and strong faith.
Jamie never gave much thought to what happens after death; lately she's been too busy saving lives and preparing for her wedding to give any real thought to the matter.
As far as Jamie is concerned, there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
So when Jamie missies the opportunity to bid her father a final farewell, she's absolutely devastated.
But just as it seems as if grief has gotten the best of Jamie, a patient facing certain death transforms the sceptical nurse's beliefs in a way she never thought possible.
Jamie never believed in the afterlife…until now.
