(mbc.net) Following his resignation as president in 1974, Richard Nixon (Frank Langella) was a disgraced political figure who avoided the limelight.  Documentarian and talk show host David Frost (Michael Sheen) hoped that he could interview the former commander and chief, and successfully arranged a meeting with Nixon in 1977.

The endeavor was not an inexpensive one; Nixon would be paid $600,000 for the series of four interviews.  Finances were only part of Frost's worries however, as the film shows the struggles that occurred behind the scenes leading up to and following the historical television event.

Frost/Nixon was nominated for five Oscars and five Golden Globes.
