The lives of three African-American males with today’s odds stacked up against them, try to find a way to survive today’s harsh conditions, while keeping an eye out for each other. Tre (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is sent to live with his dad Furious Styles (Laurence Fishburne) in Crenshaw, hoping that he will manage to straighten him out. There he meets up with childhood friends Darrin ‘Doughboy’ Baker (Ice Cube) and Doughboy’s half-brother Ricky (Morris Chestnut), now a star running-back for Crenshaw High School…
