(mbc.net) A powerful crime drama revolving around the family of Shankar Nagre (Abhishek Bachchan), the patriarch of Mumbai’s most powerful families, he leads a presidential life in his majestic palace with his wife, Pushpa and their son Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon)
And his wife and son, they also have another son in the United States, Subhash Nagre a.k.a Sarkar (Amitabh Bachchan). Who is soon back, with a beautiful young lady that he is intent on marrying. While Shankar loves both his sons, he leans more towards the more mature and stable Subhash, and shows his disappointment in Vishnu and his life style. But soon this calmness and harmony will be turned upside down, when the patriarch finds himself framed for the murder of a politician. With the Older brother now in prison for an unrelated affair, Sarkar finds himself alone to defend the family’s honor and rise above the circumstance in order to clear his dad’s name and punish the culprits.
A gripping crime drama reminiscent of (the Godfather) film, in scope pace and ambition, following the lead character as he transforms from the mild mannered son, to be the head of the biggest Mafia organization in Mumbai.
