(mbc.net) Warren Worthington II (Michael Murphy) is an entrepreneur ashamed of his winged son, Angel (Ben Foster). Because of Angel's abnormality the businessman despises all mutants, especially Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) who champion the mutant cause both politically and academically.
There is one mutant that Worthington reveres however, even if diabolically: Leech (Cameron Bright), a boy who excretes a powerful anti-mutagen that transforms mutants into conventional men and women. Worthington plans to mass-produce the serum and forcefully 'cure' mutants around the world. When news of the serum reaches Magneto (Ian McKellen) however, all hell breaks loose.
X-Men: The Last Stand earned seven Teen Choice Award nominations, two People's Choice Award nominations, and a Kids' Choice Award nomination. Like its predecessors the picture performed phenomenally at the box office, grossing $459 million internationally.
