The second installment in the American horror series ‘The Grudge’ directed by Takashi Shimizu, who gave us the original ‘Ju-on’ series, upon which ‘The Grudge’ is based. The events of the first part see Karen end up in hospital, so her sister Aubrey flies to Tokyo to take care of her and bring her home to California. But it’s not as easy as it sounds, and before long Aubrey is embroiled in a tale of a haunted house and vengeful spirits, her fate entwined with a journalist, Easton, who dragged Kate out of the burning Saeki house and is Aubrey’s acting translator. In a panic Karen tells Aubrey not to go into the Saeki house as she manages to free herself from her bed confinement, runs to the roof, followed by Aubrey and Eason who arrive just in time to see Kayako’s ghost throw Karen to her death.

Eason goes in to the Saeki house to retrieve Kayako’s diary, while Toshoi grabs Aubrey’s hand and makes an effort to lure her inside the house…
