Social Media Manager - KSA

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

(mbc.net) Responsibilities:

Manage local social strategy and program design:

  • Managing social media marketing strategies locally and activities for a wide range of products ranging from TV, Digital, Production, and CSR
  • Understand the community and design programs, thought leadership for creating strategic marketing/communication plans across social media landscape
  • Manage localization of content into a strategic feed for production and integrations in local partner channels
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify strategies, solutions and insight from content generated in social media on daily basis that drive traffic and grow business performance in KSA
  • Asses existing strategies and create programs to adjust strategy to engage consumers in social media platforms
  • Create and manage the local editorial calendar and ensure global/local content is pushed out, quality and timelines are met
  • Manage the local Community managers

  Conceptual & Executing Paid/Owned/Earned media programs:

  • Establish, maintain and leverage relationships with local bloggers & influencers,
  • Identify target consumer lifestyles & create partnerships with relevant websites

Requirements:

  • Ability to leverage existing media relationships to generate earned impressions & engagements
  • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Marketing/ PR/ journalism from a reputable University
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience which 4 years in the Digital Side or Social Media side
  • Digitally savvy and actively participates in wide variety of social media activities
  • Understand the myriad of new web properties and distribution platforms
  • Understand the ‘value exchange’ process by which earned partnerships are negotiated around
  • Interface between Dubai office, Senior Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Must possess a significant knowledge for consumer behavior, trends and innovation.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while managing competing priorities; start-up experience preferred.
