The Establishment of Sanad

Sanad is a non-profit organization founded on February 2nd, 2003 (1-12-1423H) under the umbrella of the Ministry of Social Affairs to support children’s cancer centers in the Kingdom and to provide financial assistance, lodging, transportation services for children with cancer and their families.

(mbc.net – Dubai) Sanad is a non-profit organization founded on February 2nd, 2003    (1-12-1423H) under the umbrella of the Ministry of Social Affairs to support children’s cancer centers in the Kingdom and to provide financial assistance, lodging, transportation services for children with cancer and their families. Sanad provides educational and training services; it prepares programs to educate children with cancer and their families about this life threatening disease and ways to cope with it; it encourages scientific research on oncology and malignant tumors; designs training programs for workers dealing with children with cancer; raises public awareness regarding children’s cancer, the importance of early detection of the disease, and organize social and psychological counseling for children with cancer and their families; and finally, coordinates with similar organizations and establishments to improve services provided for children with cancer and their families.

To provide a supportive environment and dedicate all necessary resources to realize a comprehensive support and distinguished services to the children with cancer and their families to alleviate psychological and social pressure on them.
