Results to be announced towards mid-December 2013 “MBC Hope” announces the names of jury members of the “Doing Good”

“MBC Hope” has announced the names of the jury members to head its “Doing Good” CSR initiative

(mbc.net - Dubai) In its continuous efforts to encourage and engage Arab Youth in spreading virtuousness and integrity within the community, “MBC Hope” has announced the names of the jury members to head its “Doing Good” CSR initiative. Following the hundreds of submissions received, which witnessed Arab youth engaging in many noble initiatives across the region; the jury, comprising of prominent figures and specialists in the Middle East, will judge entries according to the following categories: 

1. Humanitarian Causes: This category is headed by Dr.  Moez El Shahdi, CEO and Co-founder of the Egyptian Food Bank.

2. Social entrepreneurship and start-ups: This category is headed by Mrs. Soraya Salti, INJAZ Al-Arab Regional Director and Junior Achievement Senior Vice President MENA.

3. Innovation and Creativity: This category is headed by Dr. Ossama Al Rifahi : The Executive  Director The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (“AFAC”).

4. Environment and Energy: This category is headed by Dr. Majida Abouras : A member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Executive Director for The Saudi Environmental Society & Assistant Professor in the Microbiology and Biotechnology Department at King Abdulaziz University (KAU).

The prominent four jury members will examine hundreds of the submitted entries and decide on a total of 4 winners—one from each of the above-mentioned categories. The results will be officially announced towards mid-December 2013.

Once all winners have been chosen, “MBC Hope” will continue its related support by showcasing and promoting all the winning entries through its different platforms and following up on-ground with the respective teams to ensure all pre-set goals are met accordingly.
