The MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region is considered one of the 11 international chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum Global; it was first launched in Beirut in 2006

The MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region is considered one of the 11 international chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum Global; it was first launched in Beirut in 2006, where a strong and active alumni community is concentrated, though it is headquartered in Lebanon, the Pan Arab Region chapter serves the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf.

It was first created to inform and connect technology entrepreneurs by enabling them to rapidly transform ideas into international-changing companies.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region’s vision is to develop and to create a culture of entrepreneurship across the Arab region, to become the most influential entrepreneurial network in the Arab world; The thing that can be achieved through building a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, showcasing, coaching and mentor-ship for entrepreneurs.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab organizes every year the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives, targeting 21 countries of the Arab region, bringing in more than 5,000 applications every year and engaging entrepreneurs in both mentor-ship and networking.

This year MBC Alamal is partnering with MIT Enterprise forum again to support the 9th Arab Startup competition taking place in Jeddah, KSA in 2016.
