With the slogan "Warm their hearts"; "MBC Hope" and "Stars on Board" in collaboration with the High Commissioner of the United Nations for Refugees (UNHCR) worked together to support the Syrian refugee families and assist in alleviating their daily human suffering, especially with the approach of winter, and that was through the journey of "Stars on Board" in the sea.

The ship brought on board a group of Arab stars and artists who have donated some of their personal and private holdings, to be sold in the charity auction, so that the profits would return to the Syrian refugees in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Turkey. The auction collected a huge amount reached to US $ 1,250,000, and continues to receive donations until the end of this year through the website of “Stars on Board".

It is well known that the number of Syrian refugees exceeded 4 million people, more than half of them are children and infants who are in need of urgent and necessary assistance, especially with their very difficult humanitarian circumstances which forced them to settle in the mountainous, desert areas, and in slums that lack the basic necessities of humanitarian living. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is working to provide winter supplies for Syrian refugees, and also it organizes a number of humanitarian initiatives to raise funds for them, all within the "Warm Their Hearts" campaign.

In this regard, UNHCR Regional Representative for the Cooperation Council, Dr. Nabil Osman praised this action, and pointed out saying "we are delighted to partner with" MBC Hope "in providing a warm winter for Syrian refugees in neighboring countries” he added also " the decline in physical funding to assist Syrian refugees this year, will double their suffering under the weight of the bitter cold and we bet on celebrities to encourage their fans to support refugees through "Warm Their Hearts" campaign.

From his side, Mazen Hayek, the official spokesman of "MBC Group" and the general manager of public relations and business affairs, said "this step comes in its natural context, and meets with the groups’ targets in the matter of humanitarian support and helping those in need," adding that "MBC Group” focuses on the humanitarian affairs continuously since its start in 1991, and we consider this gesture as a part of our duty, especially at this difficult time and circumstances which are experienced by our people. Also it is not the first time that we turn to the Syrian refugee’s case, we previously turned our compass towards helping them and put their affairs in advanced site of our goals, this became a priority for the group achieved by "MBC Hope”.

Joseph Harb, the producer and the trips organizer in (Stars on Board) said "we decided this season to put on the top of our priorities list, the case of the Syrian refugees who are passing through difficult conditions in the camps and the places where they live, especially with approach of winter" explaining that " the auction, which is held to sell personal items of celebrities, the higher their value, the greater the amount that turns for the refugees in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Turkey. " he also confirms on the humanitarian role for artists, which shines through the auction.

It is worth mentioning that the fifth edition of "Stars on Board", started from the Rome port in Italy, and followed by sailing to the city of Marseille in France, and from there to the city of Barcelona, Spain, then to Italian city of Genoa, where the trip ended on 24 October 2015. On board of the ship, a group of prominent celebrities in the music, drama and media from across the Arab world were united, and the trip was held in cooperation with the "Emirates Holidays".

The most prominent stars who were there, George Wasouf, Kazem Al- Saher, Najwa Karam, Haifa Wehbe, Rami Ayyash, Melhem Zein, Mohammed Assaf, Hassan Raddad, Qusai Kholi, Qusai Khedr, Nader Atat, Lojiane Imran, and others.

The trip included a variety of concerts played by more than 30 artists in daily musical performances, in addition to theatrical and various activities; the trip also opened the gate for thousands of travelers to spend their vacation with their favorite stars.
