Within the same style of the original global talent format “the Voice” yet, with slight alterations as to the age bracket of participating talents, the casting and scouting of talents for “the Voice Kids” have started in the Middle East North Africa region, targeting youngsters, whose ages are between 7 and 14 years. “the Voice Kids” is expected to broadcast on MBC1 & MBC MASR, soon.

The casting and scouting tour continues till end of April 2015, in many Arab capitals and main cities – thus allowing contestants to audition and sing in Arabic and other foreign languages.

Following the casting and scouting tour will be the “Blind Auditions” phase, typically the first phase of the on-screen broadcasting of the show, considered today as one of the most prominent general family entertainment shows in the world.

While the flagship show maintains its same structure, starting with the “Blind Auditions”; moving to the “Battles” and “Knockouts;  and ending with the “Finals”, the names of the “coaches” in “the Voice Kids” on MBC1 & MBC MASR have not yet been revealed… and will officially be announced by “MBC Group” at a later stage.

It is worth noting that “the Voice Kids” is derived from the original “the Voice”, and the owners of its International Property (IP) Rights are “Talpa International”, represented in the MENA region by Ziad Kebbi, Managing Director of “Talpa Middle East”.
